    Nolan on Drug possession charge

    ~~Adz:Right~~ BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - After a quantity of marijuana was discovered at his home, Bruce Nolan, a Cunningham Street, Basseterre resident, was taken into police custody and charged in accordance with the find.
     
    As explained in a police press release, the officers were executing a search warrant on Nolan’s premises when the drugs were found.
     
    “On Saturday 16th February 2008, police executed a search warrant on the premises of Bruce Nolan of Cunningham Street for controlled drugs, arms and ammunitions and a large quantity of marijuana was found in his house. Both Bruce Nolan and the drugs were taken into police custody.”
     
    Consequently, the charges, “Possession of cannabis” and “Possession of cannabis with intent to supply” were preferred against him. 
     
    The drugs have a street value of EC$3 000.
