    Eight bills to be debated at Wednesday’s National Assembly meeting

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, MARCH 3RD 2008 (CUOPM)
    – Eight bills will be debated when the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly meets on Wednesday 5th March.
     
    Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will seek leave to introduce and read a first time, the National Assembly Elections (Amendment) Bill, 2008, the Passenger Facility Charge Bill, 2008 and the Saint Christopher and Nevis Air and Sea Ports Authority (Amendment) Bill 2008.
     
    The Attorney General and Minister of Justice and legal Affiars, Hon. Dennis Merchant will seek leave the introduce and have read a First Time, the Law Revision (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill, 2008, the Offences Against the Person (Amendment) Bill, 2008 and the Criminal Law Amendment (Amendment) Bill, 2008.
     
    The Saint Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee (Incorporation) Bill, 2008 will be introduced and read a first time by the Minister of State for  Tourism, Culture and Sports, Sen. the Hon. Richard Skerritt. ~~Adz:Right~~
     
    All eight bills will be given their Second Reading and debated and are expected to be passed by the lawmakers.
