BASSETERRE, St. Kitts–TOP Cable and Wireless officials are calling the Friday 7th March break in at their Corporate Sales Office on Cayon Street “most disturbing”.

According to a statement issued by the telecommunications company, staff arrived at work on Friday morning to find that the building had been broken into, offices ransacked and a number of computers stolen.

“Preliminary observations suggest that the perpetrators gained entry from the back of the building via a louver window”, the statement read.

Chief Executive Officer of Cable & Wireless, Patricia Walters reportedly expressed disgust over the incident and was quoted as saying “It is most disturbing that the perpetrators chose to steal three of the laptops of the staff of that Department.

I would want to appeal to right thinking and law abiding citizens not to purchase these nor other suspicious items, but to report any knowledge of these types of transactions to the police.”   ~~Adz:Right~~

The CEO offered a monetary reward to anyone who could provide information leading to the recovery of the stolen laptops.

Police are said to be investigating the break-in and ask that anyone with relevant information communicate such to the Criminal Investigation Department.
