Storms damage ‘Yampy’s’ fishing vessel

Miss Nevis cut off from moorings by storms
|
CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - MISS Nevis, a fishing boat that belongs to George ‘Yampy’ Richards and Keithley Hamilton was cut off from the moorings by the storms last Wednesday night and dumped by the rocks at the Sea Bridge.
Yampy and his crew said they may not be able to fish on Miss Nevis in the next six months due to loss of its propeller, shaft and radar.
Yampy also lost engines from a small boat that was also tossed to the rocks.
