                                                                     Court Convictions

    Jervin Rawlins
Jervin Rawlins of Tabernacle appeared before the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 2nd April 2008 to answer the charge of making use of threatening language that was brought against him.

He was found guilty and sentenced to 14 days in prison. In addition, he is to stay at least 100 feet away from the virtual complainant upon his release, and was also ordered to have no contact with the virtual complainant either personally or through any other means.

The virtual complainant is a Tabernacle resident who is a witness in a Robbery case pending against 18-year-old Junior “Buzzie” Stevens and others.

Stevens, along with two others, Rawle Benjamin alias ‘Wali’ and Glenville Maynard alias ‘Blue Steel’ were charged for the March 23rd robbery of a Sprott Street resident at the bus stop in Tabernacle.

The four men are members of the ‘Black Knight Gang’ in Tabernacle.  The Police remain committed to the dismantling of this gang, which is a menace to the community.
