BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - FORTY-ONE soca contenders have registered to do battle for the Soca King’s crown in this year’s 40/40 BEAUMONT PARK sponsored Soca Monarch Competition. And this year the Soca pot has been made even sweeter.

As Soca evolves, it is being acknowledged that there is a quick-beat soca and a slower beat soca.
