BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE TDC Group of Companies Limited is in the process of remodelling its Home and Building Depot in Basseterre, St. Kitts with the view of offering customers easier access to commodities and service.

Speaking with SKNVibes, General Manager of TDC Home and Building Depot Glenville Jeffers said that over the years the entity has been offering its customers a variety of goods and services in different sections, and efforts are now being made for the same offers but certain commodities and their accessories would be acquired within the same section.

The General Manager declared that the Group of Companies has contracted a US-based firm called “Do It Best Corps” to remodel the building and reconstruction of certain sections have already begun.

“Our intention is to provide customers with a flawless service where they can purchase items and their accessories in the same section, similar to that of a ‘one stop shop’.   ~~Adz:Right~~

This means that if a customer needs such things as tiles, carpets and rugs for their floor decoration, they would not have to go from one section or division to the next, all those items will be had in the same area within the complex,” Jeffers said.

He noted that TDC always strive to give its customers value for their money and the refurbished Depot would take on a similar look to some international entities in the US.

Jeffers stated that the Electrical Services would be merged with the Home Appliances and Entertainment Section and the Electronic Division.

He also said plans are afoot for an exchange of shelves between the City Drug Store and the Home and Building Depot, “where the gondola-type shelves at City Drug Store will be bartered for the ordinary ones we have here to enhance the display of our goods”.

“The City Drug Store will also be remodelled and very soon a similar exercise will be conducted at the Home and Building Depot in Nevis,” he added.

The General Manager asserted that the remodelling process is scheduled for completion sometime in the new month and TDC would inform the general public when the launch of the new-look Home and Building Depot would take place.
