Digicel to host free Christmas Concert

    INTERNATIONAL GOSPEL ARTISTE TYE TRIBBET TO HEADLINE SHOW
     

     

    Tuesday, November 8th, 2011, Kingston, Jamaica: Jamaican audiences will receive a special Christmas treat this year when Digicel hosts a free Christmas Concert on Thursday November 17, 2011 featuring international Gospel artiste Tye Tribbett.

     

    The concert, which will be held at the National Stadium Parking Lot, begins at 6:30pm, with gates opening from 4pm. Other performances will include popular local artistes such as Digicel Brand Ambassador Gospel artiste Jermaine Edwards, 2007 Digicel Rising Star Romain Virgo, 2011 Top 3 Digicel Rising Stars: Tash, Latty J and Delando Colley, and the dynamic music minister Carlene Davis.
     

     

    Shelly-Ann Curran, senior sponsorship manager at Digicel Jamaica, explains that, “In keeping with the spirit and vibrancy of the holiday season, Digicel is pleased to be hosting this Free Christmas Concert. This is an added opportunity for us to bring families together in the spirit of love and family entertainment as we say thank you to our customers this holiday season.

     

    As the excitement mounts around the stellar line-up that we have planned, especially our announcement of the headline act, Gospel singer, songwriter and producer Tye Tribbett, we are really anticipating a great turn out and an electrifying show.”
     
    Tickets for the concert will be available in select Digi-Centres island wide as of Friday November 12. Patrons will be able to view the Digicel Facebook Fan Page at
