No serious injuries in four-vehicular accident in Conaree

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AN accident involving four vehicles, occurred in Conaree this morning (Nov. 10) and luckily there were no serious injuries according to Police.

     

    The accident occurred on the Island’s Main Road in Conaree at about 8:45 a.m., where the vehicles were driving in the Basseterre direction from the Cayon area.

     

    According to a reliable source, there was a long line of traffic in Conaree and the first vehicle stopped to accommodate the traffic.

     

    The source then said that the fourth vehicle then hit the third vehicle which hit the second and then the first one.

     

    According to a police source, the first vehicle P6088 was owned and driven by Shashi Isaac of Lime Kiln, Donie Daniel of Molineaux drove the second car PA1524 and the third car P3795 was driven by WPC Donally Liburd of Cayon while the fourth vehicle PA8866 was driven by Allison White of Stone Fort Heights.

     

    The collisions, it is said, started after the first vehicle stopped.

     

    Investigations are ongoing.

     

    This is the tenth traffic accident to be reported to the Basseterre Traffic Department so far for the month of November.
