BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – LOCALS who attended ‘Judgment Time: The All-Inclusive Egyptian Thrill’ Event hosted by Vivid Media +Promo House Inc. in commemoration of the reigning National Carnival Queen’s upcoming birthday, gave their own unique twist to the Egyptian dress code.

National Carnival Queen, Iantavian Queeley, previously encouraged patrons to wear Egyptian costumes and togas or White and/or Gold for the women while White and Khaki was accepted for the men.

Although, only a handful of persons rocked the Egyptian style dress-code, many stuck to the theme of wearing white and gold and white and khaki.

A large amount of females also became creative with various headpieces and headbands while most of the men wore white tops.

Queeley, donned a long white skirt which was sheer from her thighs down to her ankles, with a gold diamond bra with featured chain links and a sheer cape while her father Ian Queeley, looked like he was one of the men from the days of Pharoah in his outfit that was topped off with a matching headpiece.

Graphic designer Coleen ‘Queen-Bliss’ Richardson, rocked a gold and black dress, with a gold headband that gave a different vibe to the all-white dress code.

Songstress, Rolhensha Henry, wore a green dress but her headpiece surely exuded that Egyptian-feel, while a young man, who instead of wearing just white and khaki added a gold/beige-ish coloured waistcoat to his white shirt and black pant.

All in all the styles were creative and it was great to see patrons showcase their own interpretation of Egyptian Style.
