Over 31, 000 cruise passengers at Port Zante for first two weeks in November

    BASSETERRE St. Kitts, November 15th 2011 (CUOPM) – Over 21,000 cruise ship passengers visited St. Kitts last week.
     
    Nine ships called during last week with a total of 21,178 passengers and a crew of 9,473.
     
    Last Saturday, the 3,100-passenger capacity arrived with 3,056 passengers and a crew of 1,222.
     
    On Friday two ships brought nearly 6,000 passengers. The 3,050-passenger capacity Carnival Victory brought 3,100 passengers and a crew of 1,073, while the 2,850-passenger capacity Celebrity Silhouette on its inaugural call, brought 2,863 passengers and a crew of 1,779.
     
    On Thursday, the 2,556-passenger capacity Arcadia arrived from St. Maarten with 1,948 passengers onboard and a crew of 883. The 2,224-passenger Norwegian Dawn with 2,423 cruise passengers and a crew of 1,081 berth at Port Zante.
     
    Wednesday the 3,597-passenger Azura had on board 3,042 passengers and a crew of 1,205 and on Tuesday, the 540-passenger capacity Silver Spirit visited with 505 passengers.
     
    Monday saw the 2,680-passenger capacity Carnival Miracle with 2,179 passengers and a crew of 943 on board and the 2,450-passenger capacity Celebrity Summit with 2,062 passengers and a crew of 923.
     
    The first week of November, some 10,739 cruise passengers visited St. Kitts from five ships, bringing to 31,917 for the first two weeks of this month.
