Below, each child shares with the public "Why Christmas Is Important to them" as we invite the general public to this prestigious event:
1. My name is Abyssinia Agosto. I am 6 years old. I am a member of the Youth Outreach Dance Ministry and I love to dance.
Christmas is important to me because "The Nativity of Christ remind us of the Love that the Almighty have for humanity and that invite us to live like Christ ." I would like to invite you to our Christmas recital on Friday 9th December at ECCB Auditorium, 7pm

Why is Christmas important to me:
Christmas is important to me because it was during this season that Jesus Christ our Saviour was born. Also it is the season of receiving and sharing and so I look forward to receiving lots of gift.
What would I expect most from the Pre Christmas Musical Ensemble:
As dancing is one of my true passion I look forward to perform before a live audience showing that God can be glorified not only in singing but by dancing also. It would also boost my self-confidence and make me more assertive. I invite you to our recital on Friday 9th December at the ECCB Auditorium, 7pm.
3. My name is Aeja D Clarke. I am 8 years old. I attend the St. Christopher Prep School and a member of Zion Moravian Church.
Christmas for me is to be with my friends and and family and opening the gifts at christmas time. Just looking forward to the Christmas recital on Friday 9th December at the ECCB Auditorium, 7pm
4. My name is Khaela Brittney Hanley. I am seven years old. I attend the Immaculate Conception Catholic School and I am in grade two. I attend the St. Johnson Methodist Church. I live at Greenlands and I enjoy reading and dancing.
I enjoy dancing with the Youth Outreach Dance Ministry because of the love, direct, and leadership given to me by our dance tutor Ms. Caines. What I especially love about our dance session is our devotion to God; we always put him first by saying a prayer before we start to dance. We also worship him in dance and now that Christmas is approaching our dance sessions are centered around his birth.
Christmas is important because it is a time to celebrate the birth of the son of God. It is also a time where families get together to eat, drink, and be merry. What I like most about Christmas is when I receive gifts from my family.
5. My name is Ivannah D. T. Hamilton. I am 8 years old and I attend the Maurice Hiller Memorial Junior School, where I am in Grade 3. My Mommy and I attend the People's Evangelistic Centre which is located in Needmust Estate and our Pastor is Leroy Matthew. Christmas is important to me because it is the time when Christ was born. Also, it is the time that I spend with my family and friends, opening the many presents and having a great time with one another.
6. My name is Kharis Hodge and I am 10 years old.
I attend The Immaculate Conception Catholic School and I am in Grade 5. My teacher’s name Is Mrs. Fahie.

I am very happy to be a part of The Youth Outreach Dance Ministry because I like to dance. Dancing is good exercise but it is also hard work. My dance teacher Ms. Caines makes it fun and tells us “To be a good dancer you must always practice and you will succeed.”
I look forward to Christmas because it is a special time of giving and sharing love with your family and friends. We must always remember to celebrate Jesus’ birthday.

Hi all, my name is Nyjescia Roberts and I was born under the zodiac sign of Scorpio on the 15th November 2002. I am a child with special needs and I attend the Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School being prepared to reenter the main stream of schooling.
I love going to The Antioch Baptist Church with my mommy, it will help me to build a strong foundation in Christ.
I am an ambitious and motivated little girl who is determined to succeed. My success will allow me to mentor other little girls just like me and show them that they can make it if they try. The Dance Ministry has helped me to build my self confidence and has allowed me to interact with children who share the love of dancing.
Christmas is important to me because that is when Jesus the son of God was born to us in a manger. The Pre-Christmas Musical Ensemble will remind us of the birth of Jesus Christ and why we should be grateful to him.

Christmas is important because we are celebrating the birth of Jesus. What I enjoy most about the Ministry is learning the different styles of dance, the positions and also it helps me to get fit. From the Pre-Christmas Ensemble I expect to see lots of people come out to watch us as we worship Jesus in dance.
