BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE New Birth Gospel Tabernacle in Cayon will launch a church for young people to showcase their talents this Sunday, and will be known as ‘Unleash Youth Church’.
According to a press release, the launch comprises three events, a Youth Ministers’ training on Nov. 19, the Unleash Youth Church on Nov. 20 and a one night Youth Conference on Nov. 21.
The service on Sunday will be held under a tent next to the New Birth Church located across the road from the Cayon Community Center and the service will begin at 10:00 a.m.
The youth conference and minister’s training will be held at the church building next to the tent.
Christian rap artiste and speaker Bejoy Phillip aka Wize from the rap group ‘Frontlynaz’ of the USA will be the guest artiste and speaker for the event.
Phillip is said to be one who commands a certain attention on stage but beyond his physical stature, he carries with him a brave flow that hits harder than Mike Tyson in his prime.
He is one of the founding members of Frontlynaz, and a rapper that aims to boost the confidence of his listeners and motivate them to take a stand for truth.
Prior to the service, youth leaders from churches of St. Kitts and Nevis are encouraged to participate in the youth ministry training tomorrow (Saturday Nov. 19) 9:30 a.m. at the New Birth Gospel Tabernacle in Cayon.
Phillip will be the facilitator for the training and will be speaking on Leadership and the Principles of Youth Ministry.
The Unleash Youth Conference will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 where there will be several performances from local groups and artists, including Phillip.
The admission for the training, the youth service and the one night youth conference is free of cost and persons attending the service and the one night youth conference are encouraged to dress casually.
