BASSETERRE St. Kitts, November 20th 2011 - The federation’s favorite Radio Personality and favorite Radio Station was concluded as a result of an online poll conducted by online social network media outlet the St.Kitts-Nevis Times.
In both polls the question was asked Who is your Favorite Radio Personality and Which radio station is your favorite.
According to the poll DJ Sugar Bowl is the Federations favourite DJ. A total of 897 votes were cast in this poll and Sugar Bowl led all DJ’s with 31% of votes cast. Sister Sensia was second receiving 26% of the votes followed by EK with 11% and DJ X-Ray with 10%. DJ Rucas made it to the top 5 with 6% of the votes cast.

In the 2nd poll conducted by the St.Kitts-Nevis Times in which persons were asked to vote for their favorites, the newest radio station in the federation Freedom FM was voted the favorite radio station by the online poll.
Freedom FM received almost 80% of the votes while WINN FM followed in a distant 2nd with 9% and the state-owned ZIZ received less than 7% of the votes. Rounding out the top 5 was Nevis’ Choice FM and the Christian based Dominion Radio.
Other polls that are being currently conducted on the popular social network news source include polls on the favourite Sugar Mas Carnival Queen Contestant as well as favourite Radio Talk Show.
“We intend to continue to conduct a number of these polls through a weekly poll question in an effort to get an idea of our federations’ favorites, “ said a St.Kitts-Nevis Times editor.
“At the end of the year we will publish a complete list of the favorites of 2011. We will look at everything from favorite local artiste to favorite bands to favorite night-spot, bar and even favorite restaurant and more,” the editor continued.
