BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THREE days after Denise ‘Mini’ Hodge of St. Pauls was stabbed in the chest, two sisters were charged with wounding her with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Hodge, who on Sunday attended the “Sail Away Bashment” held at the People’s Action Movement’s Headquarters, was reportedly involved in an altercation with sisters, 25-year-old Tisha ‘Cyanny’ Dowell of St. Johnson’s Village and 21-year-old Neresha ‘Punsin’ Dowell of College Street.

Information reaching SKNVibes indicates that sometime during the altercation, which occurred after 12:00 on Sunday morning, one of the sisters plunged a broken bottle into Hodge’s chest.   ~~Adz:Right~~

The injured woman was taken to the Joseph N. France General Hospital, where she was treated for a collapsed lung and, while still warded there, is listed as being in stable condition.

SKNVibes understands that the sisters were apprehended by police shortly after the incident occurred but were not charged until last evening.

They are slated to make an appearance before the court shortly to answer to their charge.

    Investigations are ongoing.
