    Wycliffe Liburd
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts: A manhunt is on for Wycliffe Liburd who, according to police, is the prime suspect in the murder of Charles Benjamin Matthew alias ‘Abaloo’.

‘Abaloo’ was gunned down in broad day light on Friday sometime after 11:00 in the morning at the junction of Shaw Avenue and Cunningham Street, McKnight.

Since the incident occurred, the police picked up “several” individuals who, according to Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Cromwell Henry, have been “arrested on suspicion of murder”.

He further informed that investigations led police to believe that Liburd who is also known as ‘Wicked’ is a “person of interest” in the case.

Liburd, 24, is described as being five feet, seven inches in height, dark in complexion with a medium build.  He is also said to have black hair and is known to reside in different places at different times.   ~~Adz:Right~~

The wanted man is considered “armed and dangerous” and should not, under any circumstances be approached. Person who may see him or who may have information regarding his whereabouts are asked to contact the nearest police station.

Any person who has information on the whereabouts of Wycliffe Liburd or the April 18th shooting of Matthew is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 465-2241 Ext 220 / 230 / 236 or the Police hotline number 707 and can do so anonymously.
