Juvenile breaks out of jail

By: Stanford Conway, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – DOWNTOWN Basseterre and its immediate surroundings are currently crawling police officers in a hunt for a juvenile who broke out of Her Majesty’s Prison.

Information reaching SKNVibes this afternoon (Dec. 9) indicates that the juvenile scaled the prison wall to escape his lawful confinement.

This information was confirmed by the Police Press and Public Relations Officer, Sergeant Stephen Hector, who stated that the jailbreak occurred at about 2:00 p.m. today.

He noted that the teenager was “within the female section of Her Majesty’s Prison and escaped by jumping over the northern wall which faces the Warner Park Stadium on Lozack Road”.

Hector added that a manhunt was launched for the escapee.

Up to the time of the posting of this article there was no word on the capture of the juvenile.
