    Three juveniles among nine arrested and charged

    ~~Adz:Left~~BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS - THREE juveniles, two from Nevis and from St. Kitts were among a list of individuals arrested last week and charged with offences in which the police believe they were involved.
     
    According to a police press release, two juveniles [14 and 15 years old] from Cotton Ground, Nevis were arrested last Thursday and charged with one count of “gambling” each. The offence is said to have been committed on April 23, 3008.
     
    The other juvenile of Fort Thomas Road, was arrested on Thursday and charged with “disorderly conduct by fighting”.
     
    Mad House Alley, Newtown resident Lynette Pemberton was arrested and charged with one count of “disorderly conduct by fighting”, while Jeron Walters, also known as ‘Two Pack’, of Ottley’s Village was arrested and charged with “making use of threatening language” on Thursday, last. 
     
    “Being armed with an offensive weapon” was the offence for which Joseph Rawlins of Mansion Village was arrested and charged, and 18-year-old Akim Clavier of Spooners Village was arrested and charged with one count each of “possession of cannabis” and “possession of cannabis with intent to supply”. He was arrested on Thursday, last.
     
    Herbert Carty of Wades Garden, who was also accused of “possession of cannabis”, was arrested and charged on Wednesday, last.
     
    Spooners Village, Cayon resident Samuel Stokes was arrested and charged for “driving a vehicle when not covered by insurance” and “driving under the influence of alcohol”.
     
    All persons will appear before the court shortly where they will get an opportunity to answer to their charges.
