C&C Superfoods delights customers for Christmas

A future patron displays her pink fluffy toy from the C&C stocking
C&C Superfoods Press Release

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS 27 December, 2011  - Christmas is the season most known for giving and sharing and C&C Superfoods has embraced this spirit.  At the launch of its Christmas promotion in mid November, the locally-owned supermarket promised to award patrons who spend $50 or more with free shopping vouchers during the weeks before Christmas.  Since then, nearly a dozen customers have been presented with their free shopping vouchers, having been selected from a ‘drum load’ of qualifying entries.

“We have been giving back to our customers over the course of the year with a number of promotions, but there is just something extra special about these promotions at Christmas,” said the Store’s General Manager Keith Evelyn.  “That is one of the reasons why we felt compelled to include the children of our customers by giving them the toys from our Christmas stocking.  We wanted to say a double thank you to customers for their patronage over the last several months,” he added.

But vouchers were not the only prizes available at the C&C stores this Christmas.  Customers who were not lucky to be drawn for the free shopping vouchers still have bigger prizes to look forward to.  In its main prize draw for the Christmas and Carnival seasons, the company is giving away a 47 inch flat screen tv as its grand prize with an Ipad as the second prize and a $400 shopping voucher for the third prize.

Mindful of the fact that a number of its customers make shopping a family experience, the company also treated the children of customers to a number of toys on Christmas Eve.  To the delight of these future patrons, their faces lit up with excitement when they were presented with a variety of toys taken from the world’s largest Christmas stocking which hung from the roof for many weeks. Over 500 pieces of toys were distributed between both stores.

Said General Manager, Keith Evelyn, “The feedback from this gesture has been gratifying.  We understand that in these challenging times it is easy to tell a child that he or she won’t get a gift and so we thought that we would help to bring joy to the children of our customers in this special way this year,” he said.

With one more week to go before the draw of the main prizes, more customers have the opportunity to qualify over the next few days as the countdown to the draw of December 31st begins.
