Junior Achievement Programme – 2008 Trade Fair

The St. Kitts-Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce in collaboration with the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, the Ministry of Education and other public and private sector organisations are promoting Junior Achievement (JA) Programmes in St Kitts and Nevis.

In addition to promoting business and entrepreneurship, the JA Programmes promote self, social and community development and provide young people with critical life skills. Such skills could enable them to mature into astute entrepreneurs, successful leaders and productive workers within their respective communities.

The Junior Achievement (JA) Advisory Committees will be hosting the annual Trade Fair on Friday 09 May 2008 at the Independence Square, Basseterre from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Trade Fair is an activity organised as part of the Junior Achievement Innovative Company Project (JAICP).

~~Adz:Right~~ The JAICP targets students of the third and fourth forms and requires them to identify and propose business opportunities within St Kitts and Nevis, operate a business, and provide performance reports at the end of their projects.

The Trade Fair provides the opportunity to showcase and sell their products/services to the general public.  Throughout the day, there would be a number of complementary activities to pique the interest of the youth of St Kitts-Nevis.

We are pleased to extend an invitation to you and the staff of your organisation to visit the Trade Fair.
A poster is also attached for circulation to staff.
