    Reed Data Services donates computers to Police Stations on St. Kitts

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – FOLLOWING the donation of two Dell Optiplex 755 Desktop Computers to Police Stations on St. Kitts, Reed Data Services Ltd. Administrative Assistant, Verda James said the gesture was intended to facilitate the two units of the Police Force with equipment to enhance their efficiency.
     
    James told SKNVibes that Reed Data Services Ltd. is celebrating its 20th Anniversary and management felt the donation was not only timely, but also a gesture of giving back to the “wider community”.
     
    James, who is also the Public Relations Personnel for the 20th Anniversary Celebrations, said, “It was delightful that Reed Data Services was able to make these donations at this time, especially as Sunday, May  4, 2008 marks the commencement of a week of celebrations planned to commemorate our 20th Anniversary of being in business on St. Kitts.
     
    “It is felt that the computers will enhance their daily work environment and help the officers in the specific police stations to be able to work more efficiently.”

    On Monday, April 28, Sergeant Tyson received the first computer from the corporate entity on behalf of the Commissioner of Police for ranks at the Cayon Police Station, while Sergeant Rogers, on the following day, received the second computer for ranks of the Sandy Point Police Station.  

    The two Sergeants, on behalf of the Commissioner and members of the Police Force, thanked Reed Data Services for its support and commitment to the organisation.
