BASSETERRE St. Kitts, January 13th, 2012 -- 2012 saw three distinguished stalwarts of the Federation bestowed with awards by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second. 

For their stellar commitment and dedication Mrs. E. Morlene Whittaker was  named  Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire  (O.B.E) for the Public Service  While Mrs. H Dorothea Hector and Mrs Theresa Richardson were awarded, Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (M.B.E) for Public Service and Education and Public Service respectively. 

The Honourable Minister Marcella Liburd and the Ministry of Community Development, Culture and Gender Affairs join the country in congratulating these women and thanking them for their years of exceptional service and leadership to the federation.
