BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Capricorn Bash will be held at the G-Spot in Sandy Point on January 21 and will be featuring the Small Axe Band, according to the organiser of the event.
Amos ‘Young Flamez’ Francis said that the event is not only in celebration of his birthday but also for everyone born under the sign of Capricorn as well as for those who enjoy a good and safe party.
Francis said that the event would feature a host of talented local artistes including Gun Child, Chester-B, Ashro-b, Artikal, Rudii & Balikup, Hot Rod, S.M.I and Beach Back Music.
He explained that originally the Nu Vybes Band was scheduled to perform at the event, but after the deposit was paid and promotions were underway, he was informed that the band would not be able to fulfill that engagement.
Francis said that he then decided to contact the Small Axe Band which agreed to play for the bash.
“We want to apologise to the Nu Vybes fans them and let them know it is not a fault of the promoter but the band. So, I just want to sensitise the people on the change,” he said.
There will also be a host of DJs including Freedom Sound, Dj Shaggy, DJ 6 a clack, Mixklusive Sounds and Sudie Pop.
Francis said that they are also hoping to launch a parade troupe for the upcoming Black San Festival.
“I’m encouraging people to come out and show support to the event…it will have special prizes from sponsors,” he added.
The organiser said that there would also be a guest appearance by models from the Divine Modeling Agency.
