BASSETERRE St.Kitts, February 6th, 2012 -- Founder and Executive Director of the Peaceful World Movement, noted criminologist and sociologist Dr. Peter K. B. St. Jean, appeals to all members of the Dominica community to continue being peaceful, humble, and orderly in their various responses to the highly anticipated dual citizenship court ruling released on January 10th 2012.
That decision declared Prime Minister, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, and Minister of Education, Hon. Petter St. Jean as winners in the high profile, landmark case which challenged whether or not they were legally able to contest the 2009 Dominica national elections.
The acclaimed social scientist states that “we are now greeted with a new moment in our nation’s history that again requires all of us to be fair, peaceful, orderly, and considerate in our words, thoughts, expressions, and actions as we all continue with the task of building a brighter future for our beloved nation and its wonderful peoples. This must happen now while we have this window of opportunity.”
