Kevonie Pemberton crowned Miss Teen Hospitality 2012

    Charlestown,Nevis, February 7th, 2012  --  Premier and Minister of Tourism, the Hon. Joseph Parry early Sunday morning crowned Miss Lime Beach Bar and Tours, Kevonie Pemberton as the 2012 Teen Hospitality winner.
     
    Seventeen-year-old Kevonie, a Nevis Sixth Form College student, was outstanding throughout the night with her poise and eloquence, capturing the Best Ambassadorial Speech and Best Talent segments. She was also chosen by her peers as Miss Amity.
     
    Seventeen-year-old Cinnamon Matthew, a student of the Gingerland Secondary School, representing the Ole House Café was crowned first runner-up. She was also winner of Best Caribbean Cocktail Dress. Fourteen-year-old Miss Nevisian Heritage Village, Shannon Morton, was second runner-up, and also captured the Miss Photogenic title.
     
    The other three participants were Miss Four Seasons Resort, Hydeia Tyson, Miss Nisbett Plantation Inn, Sherizelle Belle and Miss Qualie Beach Resort, Kereemah Reis. 
     
    “This year, the show was exciting as all the contestants showed great showmanship and talent”, said the Premier.
     
    He also commended Tourism Marketing Officer in the Ministry of Tourism, Miss Tamika Lawrence, and the Ministry of Tourism for an outstanding job of organizing the well attended show.
     
    The show staged at the Cultural Complex, as part of Tourism Week 2012, was hosted by popular Nevisian Master of Ceremonies. Mr. Eric Evelyn.
     
    Tourism Week is being observed (Feb 3-12) under the theme “Linking Generations, Building Bridges”
