BASSETERRE St Kitts, 7th February 2012 - The Newtown Sports Club is pleased to announce its first community service project of 2012; the painting of the Tucker Clarke Primary School Computer Lab by the Delphic Newtown United SKNFA Premier Division Players.
On Saturday 4th February 2012 members of the team painted the room under the supervision of Mr Philmore Warner. Messrs Larry Maynard and Dion Maynard of Maynard's Air Conditioning also volunteered and successfully serviced the existing air conditioning unit in the Computer Lab.
This project is the first step in the Team’s vision of giving back to the Newtown community and further afield. Delphic has also undertaken to sponsor jerseys for the Tucker Clarke Primary School football team which will bear the school crest, Delphic logo and Newtown United’s crest.
We will continue to be an integral part of these initiatives as we focus not only on continuing to be the most successful Football club in St Kitts, but on giving back to the community-at-large. Newtown United We Stand!
