BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, February 7th, 2012 (CUOPM) – The parade of cruise ships to St. Kitts’ Port Zante continued last week with the arrival of 13 ships with over 21,000 passengers.
The 3,597-passenger Azura with 3,045 visitors and the 2,450-passenger Celebrity Summit with 1,960 passengers docked on January 30th.
The 2,540-passenger Serenade of the Seas with 2,104 passengers and the 2,281-passenger Mein Schiff 2 with 1,888 passengers visited on January 31st.
February 1st saw the 2,845-passenger Celebrity Eclipse arrived with 2,845 passengers and the 255-passenger Royal Clipper with 157 visitors.
Three cruise vessels visited on February 2nd with a total of 3,908 passengers with 1,482 onboard the Thomson Dream; 2,382 onboard the Norwegian Dawn and 44 onboard the Sea Cloud.
Three ships also visited on February 3rd with 17 on the Stad Amsterdam, 2,975 on the Carnival Victory and 3,073 passengers onboard the Emerald Princess for a total of 2,256 passengers.
The week was rounded out on Saturday 4th February with the visit of the 3,100-passenger Ventura with 3,091 passengers onboard.
That week saw a total of 21,254 passengers and 10,482 crew members
An estimated 98,000 cruise passengers are expected to visit St. Kitts during February from a total of 51 ships.
