The news was all over the media, there was much hoopla and the pictures showed Dr. Douglas shovel in hand breaking the soil. Let us all hope that he was not actually digging the grave for the RLB International Airport Terminal.
There will be two Terminals at the R. L. B. Just another feature or expression of the TWO SYNDROME, THE TWO PHENOMENON.
It is amazing how history can repeat itself. Due to Dr. Douglas and Labour once again there will be TWO ST. KITTSES. In the old days the FRENCH had the two ends, the ENGLISH in the middle. Due to Dr. Douglas and Labour NEW divisions are a being ESTABLISHED.
Labour’s MASON-DIXON Line separates the South East Peninsula (S.E. GUANTANAMO BAY) from the rest of St. Kitts. Enclaves are being established in St. Kitts. Apart from CHRISTOPHE HARBOUR there will be KITTITIAN HILL, places designed to be GATED-COMMUNITIES.
CHRISTOPHE HARBOUR, like GUANTANAMO BAY (SE CUBA) is in the South East of St. Kitts. GUANTANAMO BAY Cuba is in Cuba but not of Cuba because it is controlled by the USA. While the Cubans are crying out and demanding that their land be returned to their control, Dr. Douglas and Labour are facilitating the establishment of an ENCLAVE in the South East Peninsula, effectively under rules apart from those that govern the rest of St. Kitts.
St. Kitts and in particular the South East Peninsula is the NEW, NEW WORLD. In the OLD, NEW WORLD no preparations were made for the SETTLERS. In this period of the NEW, NEW WORLD Dr. Douglas is the middle man. Kittitians are now having an idea or the experience of the Caribs who were here hundreds of years ago.
Preparations for the new settlers and absentee owners have been multifaceted; the PROSTITUTION OF OUR PASSPORTS, SPECIAL ENCLAVES, MARINAS, SPECIAL RIGHTS AND PREVILAGES, CONCESSIONS. The latest is the NEW PRIVATE TERMINAL, i.e. THE GUANTANAMO TERMINAL.
As much as Labour wished the worst for Port Zante and criticized the project, the port is not a private port and there is NO PRIVATE FACILITIES there of the nature of the NEW TERMINAL. The chosen people at CHRISTOPHE HARBOUR/THE SOUTH EAST QUANTANAMO BAY will not only have their private terminal at the R. L. B. but their own marina. Ooo….oh they are just short of having their own airport. SHORT, because ALLEN STANFORD is in a US Jail and no longer has FIRST CHOICE if the RLB was to be privatized. The “B” in RLB might then be for “BUSH.”
As to our South East Guantanamo Bay, Guantanamo Bay in Cuba is separated from the rest of Cuba by a FENCE, i.e. A GATED COMMUNITY. Citizens have been complaining of meeting CHAINS, GATES, BIG STONES all blocking roads once opened to the public. Despite all the cries Dr. Douglas and Labour have not done ANYTHING to stop this trend.
On February 8, 2012 emails and callers to WINNFM complained of being blocked at Sandy Bank Bay, blocked from coming back home and roaming the places of their childhood. Thus it is clear that the mechanisms and structures are being put in place for the NEW SETTLERS AND ABSENTEES OWNERS to enter and leave St. Kitts without ENTERING AND LEAVING ST. KITTS. It must be emphasized that St. Kitts is a land of LAWS.
The public knows that the power supply and AC at the RLB terminal has been a chronic problem. It is through here that our people and the tourists we invite here, enter and leave. Are our people to be all excited and hopeful over this GUANTANAMO PRIVATE TERMINAL when so much needs fixing at our RLB TERMINAL? It is vital that our R. L. B Terminal be upgraded and well maintained, not taken over by moth balls.
Development is important but there needs to be an explanation as to why the need for such a Terminal. Barbados, St. Maarten and other places have enlarged and modernized their main terminals, named in honour of important national figures. Mr. Bradshaw is our FIRST NATIONAL HERO. Anything named after him must be given utmost respect and care.
Maintenance and modernization are important because the government is spending money to bring in BA, AA, DELTA and US AIRWAYS. The day must not come when the business generated by the coming of these airlines be transferred to ANY PRIVATE TERMINAL. The RLB Terminal must not be allowed to deteriorate making a cheap buy for the NEW SETTLERS. It must be noted that aften a number of years Port Zante will be Federal property.
It is important to search the Caribbean and other places for private terminals and how they operate. The Labour government has an obligation to tell the people EXACTLY what this Guantanamo terminal is all about. Anguilla is well known for high-end Tourism, the tourists passing through one small terminal. Dr. Douglas has said that the private TERMINAL will be operated in the context of all our rules and regulations governing SECURITY, CUSTOMS, IMMIGRATION……However, Dr. Douglas is a known liar, STRANGER TO THE TRUTH.
High-end tourism MUST not mean that St. Kitts is to be a playground for the rich and HAVEN for those who want to be higher than INTERNATIONAL LAW and accepted behavior. Already we have seen Dr. Douglas going to, and taking St. Kitts out to places like Liechtenstein and ESTONIA, the new sanctuaries for money laundering, the Russian mafia, nuclear material smuggling.
Americans and their associates take whatever they want into and out of Cuba’s Guantanamo Bay. Our private or Guantanamo Bay Terminal must not mean LIMOSINES driving up to gulf streams and SETTLERS or ABSENTEE OWNERS moving from plane seat to seats in darkly-shaded cars, around the building, meeting escorts which take them across Labour’s MASON-DIXON LINE to the South East GUANTANAMO BAY ENCLAVE, that being done after ELECTRONIC DECLARATION AND DOCUMENT TRANSFER have substituted for EYEBALLING, PHYSICAL SEARCHING and the protocol of questioning. A private terminal must not mean that records of entry and EXIT be kept in PRIVATE HANDS.
With all the promises made in terms of the benefits to our people, will they be able to operate shops and restaurants, in the private facility. Will our taxi men be able to operate on the grounds of such a terminal or have to stay over the fence and watch the limousines go and come. Under this Labour government ALL-EXCLUSIVE is taking on a whole new and different meaning.
Remember PEARL HARBOUR! The ALLEN-STANFORD EXPERIENCE must not be forgotten. The people behind the private terminal and any private terminal the company has anywhere should be thoroughly investigated. No facility should be established in our country that can in anyway be used to aid fugitives, money laundering, the mafia, drug and gun smuggling, radioactive or nuclear material smuggling, human trafficking, to protect killers and dictators and people who commit crimes against humanity.
International Terrorists have changed their dress code and international terrorism is now linked to big money. A young woman is in prison for her part in smuggling guns and ammunition into the Federation. This is evidence of what can happen “UNDER OUR NOSES.”
The new terminal is just another of the facilities which are to meet the needs of the NEW SETTLERS, to establish and separate the two (2) ST. KITTSES. An Apartheid system is emerging under this Labour party.
The recent issues of lack of fire engines and the elevator mal-functioning shows that there are matters to be addressed at facility. In fact there are matters to be addressed both at the airport and in the South East Quantanamo Bay or South Peninsula Enclave. It is not only the Sandy Bank issue but on February 14, 2012 beach vendors were “bawling” on the radio that Jack was using his dogs to get them off the beach. Only recently Frankie Sly told the people that “DEY COMING BACK”. Some are already here PREPARING A PLACE FOR THOSE TO COME.
At this stage the preparations are being put in place to establish the two ST. KITTSES”. Citizens will go LEFT, NEW SETTLERS AND ABSENTEES OWNERS WILL GO RIGHT.
