    St. Kitts-Nevis to benefit from MOU with Morocco

     

     

     

    Dr. the Hon Timothy Harris, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs
    Bilateral Meetings between Dr. the Hon Timothy Harris, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, during the 38th Regular Session of the OAS being held in Colombia, will redound to the benefit of St Kitts and Nevis.

     

    Dr Harris pursued cooperation in a variety of areas with Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Iceland and special envoy of the government of Morocco.

     

    The Federation will pursue cooperation with Iceland in the areas of fisheries, geothermal energy and both countries will provide support for each others’ candidature to the UN organisation.

     

    Meanwhile, St Kitts and Nevis and Morocco will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding to formalise cooperation in a number of fields including education and training, seaport management and development, quarry development and a range of other areas. ~~Adz:Right~~

     

    Dr. Harris discussed with his Venezuelan counterpart matters relating to Petrocaribe, increasing energy costs and food.
