    Man shot in leg;
    …Police launch investigation

    ~~Adz:Right~~BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A Saddlers man is hospitalised following a shooting incident that occurred during the early hours of today.

     

    At about 4 o’clock this morning, Police responded to a report of a shooting incident at Wades Garden and, according to a Police press release, when they arrived, Leon Sutton was met “on the side of the road with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his right leg”.

     

    Sutton told the Police that he was shot by a masked man while he was travelling along the stretch of road on which the community’s pre-school is located.

     

    The victim was taken to the Joseph N. France General Hospital where he was treated and warded.

     

    The Police have indicated that they are making investigations into the matter.
