BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – SO after the dining and karaoke at Fisherman’s Wharf and the frolicking and competing at the Fun Day with Celebration City that left many of the employees sore and aching, the staff journeyed across the waters to the neighboring island of Nevis on Sunday, March 4, for some rest and relaxation at the picturesque Nelson Spring Beach Resort.
These events mark the continuing commemoration and celebration of SKNVibes.com 10th Anniversary which was made official on March 1.
After disembarking the Sea Bridge, the celebratory group minutes later arrived at the Resort which is located between Charlestown and the Vance Amory airport.
Lounging on the beach and taking in the ambience of the golden sand and sea was one of the first things the staff decided to do after admiring the 3.5 acres of glorious coconut palm-lined beachfront property, located on the leeward (Caribbean) side of Nevis.
It was truly relaxing; the atmosphere offered a calmness that allows anyone to do almost anything from taking a nap to surfing online, without any noise or disturbance.
The staff later enjoyed lunch which included a variety of burgers and wraps and fries from the Yachtsman’s Beach Bar & Grill.
Following their meal, some were still up for lounging around while others decided to take a dip in the infinity pool that overlooks the beach.
The resort, named after British Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson who watered his ships from the Nevis spring during the 1700s, offers luxurious condos that are fully furnished and appeal to couples, families and independent travelers.
Nelson Spring offers a total of 24, one, two, three and four bedroom condos that are beautifully furnished with Egyptian marble floors throughout the living space while the spacious front porch affords guests stunning views of the dormant volcano at Mount Nevis.
By around 5:00 p.m. the staff was already back on the Sea Bridge headed to St. Kitts after a relaxing day.
