BASSETERRE St. Kitts, March 9th 2012 - The St. Kitts Electricity Company Limited (SKELEC) disclosed on Friday, that all of its customers were affected by an unscheduled seven-minute island wide electricity supply outage.
"At approximately 11:50am, there was an island-wide electricity supply outage. Restoration of electricity supply began at 11:57am. We apologise for the unscheduled interruption of supply. A subsequent report will be made as soon as information regarding the interruption of supply is downloaded from the generation plant and analysed," stated Public Relations Officer Gawain Fraites.
