Bio for Ms.Black San 2012- Sidama Jones

Ms. Sidama Jones
Press Release ( Black San’ )

BASSETERRE St. Kitts, March 13th, 2012  --  Roaring into the Black San’ Bang-a-Lang swimsuit competition is Sidama Jones, born under the sign of Leo.  Sidama is poised and ready to accept the challenge of competing in this prestigious show. Currently, she is employed as a Customer Service Rep at LIME.

This vibrant 25 year old has participated in previous shows such as the Miss Culture Queen Pageant and National Carnival Pageant in 2006 where she placed 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively.  She is the reigning Miss Culture Swimsuit Queen 2011.

A confirmed 'mommas girl’, she holds her mother in the highest esteem because to her, her mother is a "tower of strength".

Sidama's favorite color is purple because it represents royalty and passion, which are the core aspects of her quirky personality. She believes that "a royal attitude is not simply about attaining a crown but it involves self- confidence and behaving in such a manner that garners respect and admiration"

As a new mother, she can recall the memorable experience of giving birth to her daughter. It may sound cliché, however, Sidama credits that precious moment with giving her a new purpose in life and motivating her to be a better person. Hence, motherhood has only made her more determined in eventually pursuing her goal of attaining a marketing degree.

With a positive outlook on life and her belief that every individual can make a difference in our society, it is her mission to encourage others to actively take part in this year’s Black San’ Bang-a-Lang Festival which will help to foster a healthy relationship within Sandy Point and its neighboring communities. Remember it’s a Cultural Fete at Belle Tete.
