BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – SKNVIBES’ party is ongoing as the online media house continues to celebrate its 10th Anniversary in March with several activities, and the most recent was a Catamaran Cruise to sister isle to Nevis.
On Saturday (Mar. 17), some of the media house’s employees experienced the Blue Waters Safaris-Irie Lime for the first time and commented that it was the best experience they have had so far on water.
Just before the catamaran took sail, the crew laid out some of the rules and safety measures while on the boat, and some 10 minutes after DJ Cool cranked up the music and the real fun began.
Several popular local tunes from last year’s Carnival began playing and some persons danced while some enjoyed the cool Caribbean breeze and majestic surroundings, as they sailed past the hills on St. Kitts.
The Irie Lime, while on its way to Nevis, dropped anchor in a secluded cove and allowed some of the staff to experience snorkeling.
There they explored the rich marine life that included snappers, damsels, trumpet fish, angelfish, and several species of parrotfish.
The catamaran features state-of-the-art bathrooms, sunning nets, plenty of seating accommodation, music and a fully-stocked bar.
Their friendly crew also made the experience superb and memorable.
After the snorkeling experience, it was Nevis bound, where the staff lounged on Pinney’s Beach which featured the bars of Sunshine and Chevy’s.
The staff spent an hour and half on Nevis and dined on the local cuisine, Cookup, before it was time to head back to St. Kitts.
The catamaran cruise was just one of the many activities the staff chose as a means of celebrating their 10th Anniversary, which included a dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf, a Fun Day and a day at Nelson’s Spring in Nevis.
