Save Money and Save Your Life

    Basseterre, St. Kitts --
In its on-going drive to bring affordable air ambulance coverage to the people of the Caribbean, MASA  (Medical Air Services Association) is proud to announce its new partnership with St. Kitts-based Horsford Group of Companies.

MASA, founded over 30-years ago, now has twelve international offices and 800,000 members. Last year alone, MASA performed over 600 medical evacuations in the Caribbean region and is the largest company of its kind. Last year, the decision was made to handle all of its Eastern Caribbean operations out of its new offices in St. Kitts.

"We're excited to be in St. Kitts," says MASA's Eastern Caribbean Regional Manager, Aaron W. Mitchell. "The response to the air ambulance coverage we offer has been overwhelmingly positive -- so positive that we had  to get a larger office after just six months." Mitchell says the opening of the new office at the Ram's Shopping Center in Bird Rock was just one of many changes the company has seen.

"We're especially pleased with the management of S.L. Horsford's and their desire to protect their loyal customers. Their new partnership with MASA means their customers will save over $80 on air ambulance coverage."

Horsford's customers will now have the option of going to any of their stores on St. Kitts or Nevis and filling out a simple MASA application form. "We partner with local companies like pharmacies, dentists, clinics and grocery stores throughout the Caribbean to save our members money -- so partnering with Horsford's just made sense."  ~~Adz:Right~~

MASA also recently inked an agreement with Meridian Medical wherein MASA members receive up to a 10% discount on medical consultations with physicians.

"Without MASA coverage, an air ambulance flight can cost over $20,000 USD," says Mitchell. "But our members pay only $27 EC per month to enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that in the event of a critical illness or injury, MASA is there for them and their family 24-hours a day."

MASA, founded in 1974, is based in Fort Worth, Texas and maintains offices throughout the Caribbean including Jamaica, Bahamas, Antigua, Trinidad, Turks & Caicos, St. Thomas, BVI, St. Kitts, Bermuda and Anguilla.
