Fashion Show to mark TDC Downtown Plaza’s 1st Anniversary

Basseterre, St. Kitts - TENANTS of the first floor of the TDC Downtown Plaza on Fort Street will be celebrating their one-year anniversary of doing business from the location with a Fashion Show on Thursday, 19th June.
Stan Bowen, owner of St. Elmos (agent for Pepe Jeans) and a member of the organizing committee told SKNVibes.com that the event would be held at the location and that the event will be broadcasted live on Sugar City Roc radio station starting with the pre-activities at 2 p.m.
The participating enterprises are Children’s Closet, Dahlia’s Boutique, Abundance Gift Shop, Elegant Fashions, TDC Business Equipment/City Drug Store 2005 Ltd and Pepe Jeans/St. Elmos’.

will display the wide variety of products/clothing available from the businesses involved in organising the event. The individual business owners, he explained, would be responsible for recruiting their own models.
He also said that there are plans in the pipeline for the business owners of the TDC Plaza to put on a similar event at least once every three months. The idea, Bowen said, “was to popularize the Plaza”.
“People normally walk up and down on Fort Street but hardly anyone comes up the stairs, and just recently I spoke to someone who said they didn’t even know the stores existed.”
As part of the Customer Appreciation theme and 1st Anniversary celebration special gift packages containing items from the participating stores will be given away at random to persons present at Thursday’s event.
