KINGSTOWN St.Vincent, April 05th, 2012 -- The Botanical Gardens is set to undergo a major restoration process and three local business houses have contributed to this effort.
The St. Vincent Cooperative Bank, Karib Cable and the Mariners Inn, presented cash donations and other services to the Botanical Gardens Restoration Project at a ceremony this morning.
Director of the National Parks Rivers and Beaches Authority, Andrew Wilson, said the assistance provided by Karib Cable will go towards the enhancement of the facilities at the Gardens.
Mr. Wilson said the donations will also facilitate the implementation of a plant inventory system and the purchase of much-needed landscaping equipment.
