BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – DESPITE being stabbed multiple times in various parts of his body, a Constable of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) reportedly managed to subdue and handcuff his attacker.

The incident occurred late Sunday evening (Apr. 8) and has left the lawman nursing his wounds in the JNF Hospital.

Sometime during the following morning, SKNVibes caught wind of the incident and made inquiries of the RSCNPF’s PRO, SGT Stephen Hector.

Hector indicated that he would work expeditiously in gathering information about the incident which he would then disseminate.

That information is yet to be received, but investigations made by this media house revealed that the incident took place at Lower Monkey Hill, St. Peters sometime between 8:30 and 9:15 p.m. between Constable Thereon Murrain and another man.

Although it is unclear what triggered the incident, this publication learnt that as a result of it Constable Murrain – who is said to be a Recruit – sustained multiple stab wounds to his body.

And even having sustained those injuries, sources indicate that he successfully apprehended his attacker who was taken into police custody.

Sources also indicated that a knife was used to inflict the wounds on Murrain and that his attacker remains in custody at the Basseterre Police Station.

This media house understands that Murrain was rushed to the Joseph N. France General Hospital where he underwent surgery and continues to receive treatment for his injuries.
