C&C Superfoods made history when it launched the first online supermarket in St. Kitts & Nevis just weeks ago. Since then thousands of nationals living abroad have visited the site at www.candcsuperfoods.com and scores have signed up for membership to the C&C Shoppers Club.

Statistics provided by website designers and hosts SKNVibes show that since the launch, more than 370,000 visitors have logged on to the nation’s newest ecommerce site.

Hits originate from the USA, UK, Canada, the BVI and other international countries and territories where nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis reside in great numbers.

Scores of nationals living abroad have taken this opportunity to sign up to become members of the C&C Shoppers Club. These shoppers will now qualify to receive twice annually two percent of their shopping in rebates, which originally was only available to in-store customers.

On Saturday 7th June, Deborah Caines of Shadwell Housing, Basseterre experienced firsthand the benefits of having her shopping delivered. Ms. Caines’ daughter living in the United States used the medium of our online supermarket to purchase her mother’s groceries.   ~~Adz:Right~~

Ms. Caines, in an interview with C&C Super Foods’ General Manager Keith Evelyn, said she was made very happy by the experience. “This online shopping thing is good,” she remarked.

Deliveries have been made to other areas including Buckley’s Estate, Stapleton and Key’s Villages.

General Manager Evelyn said that the service has started off smoothly and the recipients are fully satisfied. “We are confident that as word spreads of this service a lot of nationals in the Diaspora would use this facility to purchase goods for families and friends living in St. Kitts & Nevis, thus eliminating the hassle of packing and shipping barrels to St. Kitts & Nevis,” he added.
