The Nevis Island Assembly to meet in early July

(CHARLESTOWN,NEVIS- Friday, June 27, 2008) Clerk of the lawmaking body, Mr. Dwight Morton in a notice to parliamentarians said the Nevis Island Assembly will convene on Tuesday, July 8th at 10:00 AM at the Nevis Island Assembly Chambers at the historic Hamilton House in Charlestown.
Mr. Morton said that the Order paper and other documents related to the sitting will be circulated at a later date.
This upcoming sitting will be the third session for the year and comes two months after the Property Tax Ordinance, 2008 was discussed and passed into law.
