Jail time for sleeping thief

~~Adz:Right~~BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A sleeping thief will have more than enough time to catch up on nap time especially since he was sentenced to serve nine months at Her Majesty’s Prison.
Nickoyan Greaux of Malone Avenue appeared before the District “A” Magistrate’s Court on a charge of larceny that was committed on June 13, 2008.
According to the particulars of the case, a vehicle owned by Royal Logistics was in the Sands Complex when Greaux entered it and removed a stereo set. Interestingly however, Greaux was reportedly caught, having fallen asleep after removing the device from its original position in the vehicle. The offence is reported to have occurred at approximately 2:15 in the morning.
The perpetrator was arrested and charged with the offence of “larceny from an unattended vehicle” and subsequently convicted.
Also, a Taylors Village resident, Sean Smith, was sentenced to serve six months in Her Majesty’s Prison as punishment for committing a March 30, 2008 offence of battery.
