                             Hispanic Community Endorses CCT Global and 2008 Official Car Show

    Road Town, Tortola July 2008: Over three hundred (300) residents of the Hispanic community on Tortola came out on Sunday, 6th July at Fantasea located at Duff’s Bottom on Tortola, to a festive evening organized by CCT Global Communications and Capital Productions.

     

    CCT Global Communications is the major sponsor of the 2008 BVI Official August Festival Car Show and Exhibition, scheduled for Saturday 2nd August at the Althea Scatliffe Primary School grounds in Road Town, Tortola.

     

    At the event, CCT Global Communications new Marketing Manager Carlos Colon reintroduced to the Hispanic community CCTNet which provides the freedom to connect wirelessly to the internet throughout the BVI. 

    This service is currently available with free modem and unlimited usage for as little as $69.00 per month.  

    Mr. Colon also spoke about the benefits CCT Global Communications post and prepaid plans offer the Hispanic community for international calling, as well as, the exciting plans coming up that include new rates, and more products.

     

    David D. Archer Chairman of Capital Productions said that this year the Car Show is promoting local involvement. Local major sponsorship via CCT Global Communications, local entertainment line-up which includes the popular ShowTime Band and local Hip-Hop star Aaron Parillon who is managed by Capital Productions.

     

    Mr. Archer thanked both the Hispanic community and CCT Global Communications for their support of the Annual Car Show and Exhibition now celebrating its 10th anniversary. Also on hand at the event with the Hispanic community were Capital Productions members Julian Willock, David A. Abednego, Ingrid A. Moses-Scatliffe and Julien N. Johnson as well as local Hip-Hop star Aaron Parillon.   ~~Adz:Right~~

     

    Felipe George one of the leaders in the local Hispanic organization on Tortola had high praises for both CCT Global Communications and Capital Productions the Car Show organizers. He said, “CCT Global Communications has been in the BVI through the good times and the bad times and I have no doubt that my community will stay with CCT Global Communications.” Mr. George said he is extremely pleased to learn of the many new initiatives CCT Global Communications have offered to provide, including better rates and services to his community and the BVI as a whole.

     

    He pledged that CCT Global Communications and the Capital Productions Car Show will continue to enjoy the full support of the Hispanic community.

     

    The Annual Car Show and Exhibition scheduled for Saturday, 2nd August is in its 10th year. This year there will be over 35 categories to be judged by international judges from the USA, Trinidad and Tobago and United Kingdom along side the MECA International Audio judges.

     

    Each year for the past nine (9) years Capital Productions has donated a portion of the proceeds to local charities.  There will be cars participating from St. Croix, St. Thomas, St. John, Tortola and Virgin Gorda.  The annual Car Show and Exhibition which is a family event is seen as the kick off to the festival weekend.

     

    The car show which is on Saturday 2nd August will be followed by the Sunday Ms. BVI pargent, Monday emancipation day parade and the August Tuesday horse races at the Ellis Thomas Downs.
