The competition will be held this Saturday, May 5 at Carnival Village at 8:00 p.m.

The ladies representing each constituency in St. Kitts will showcase their skills in four judged segments - Best Promotional Speech, Talent, Creative Wear and Evening Wear.

However, their first appearance onstage will be a creative and thrilling fanfare performance that is usually a mixture of modeling and dance.

The contestants who are geared to put on a great show are Shenequa Powell, Constituency 1; Natacia Claxton, Constituency 2; Nichelle Henry, Constituency 3; Kwahne’ Wharton, Constituency 4; Jah’Neska Williams, Constituency 5; Patricia Clarke, Constituency 6; Nahilah Watson, Constituency 7 and Caley Greaux,, Constituency 8.

The young ladies have been a part of several activities leading up to the show including making appearances at the annual Easter Monday Black Rocks Picnic and a recent dinner in their honour at Marshalls Restaurant hosted by St. Kitts-Nevis Prime Minister, Dr. Denzil Douglas.

He said the Pageant is of historical importance as it is one that celebrates the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Labour Party as a political organisation.

“It is expected to be one of the greatest shows at Carnival City spiced with local and international artistes,” said Prime Minister Douglas in a release from CUOPM.

Last year’s winner Zaiesha Joseph of Constituency 4 will be handing over her crown to her successor.
