Here come Solar Hydrogen Renewable Energy Technologies!

By: Lorna Callender, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – Businessmen in St. Kitts were intrigued with the latest Renewable Energy Technologies when Solar Hydrogen technology which was introduced to them on Thursday, May 3, by Michael Stizki, President of Renewable Energy Holdings and the Hydrogen House Project, New Jersey.

The visit by the President to our shores was initiated by Ms. Evelyn Henville of Nevis and facilitated in St. Kitts by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Mrs. Henville revealed that she became interested in this renewable source of energy because of its seeming simplicity and because it could be used individually as well as island-wide. It was also very timely.

The meeting was arranged to share information about this major milestone in the development of affordable, reliable, safe energy from renewable sources.

About 30 business persons who accepted the invitation were shown models demonstrating the Solar Hydrogen technology and how it is being used to power homes, appliances, vehicles, boats, golf carts etc.

The featured speaker, Michael Strizki, has done similar systems around the globe and is considered the foremost expert in integration of hydrogen technologies from renewable sources.

He explained how the system could be used in homes, hotels and other businesses, for appliances and for transportation.

He pointed out that this is an uninterruptible power system which can take anyone off the Government’s grid and can generate more power than needed, in which case, power can be sold back to the government.

By the end of the session, businessmen queried why this obviously affordable and effective renewable energy source had not become more widespread since its discovery.

It was generally felt that the large oil companies could not afford to allow this cheap (compared to fossil fuels) source of renewable energy to become widespread.

It was further learnt that Solar Hyrogen technologies, which needs only sun and water to energise it had been in use by NASA and the military for some twenty years now.

Before the meeting ended, plans were made for follow-up sessions where more details could be learnt about this “eye-opening” – as it was describe - new form of renewable energy system.

The Solar-Hydrogen Residence in New Jersey is an initiative of the Hopewell Project, a New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation. The Project is an ongoing collaboration of government, industry and private citizens. www.hydrogenhouseproject.org
