Press Release (BVI)

ST.GEORGE'S Grenada, May 11th, 2012  --  The Cabinet Office in the Office of the Prime Minister has noted statements in the local and regional media indicating that on 30th April 2012, then Senator Arley Gill left the Cabinet Room along with then Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Culture, Hon. Peter David after the latter had informed of his resignation from his ministerial posting.

The Cabinet Office wishes to advise that the statements are untrue and unfounded since then Sen. Gill did not leave the Cabinet room at that time.

Sen. Gill was present throughout most of the Cabinet Meeting and participated in a Presentation to Cabinet by Spicemas Corporation on the staging of Carnival 2012.  He left the Cabinet Room around 3:30pm with the permission of the Prime Minister to undertake a domestic errand.
