"National earns law degree with honours''

    BASSETERRE St. Kitts, May 18th, 2012   --  A National of St. Kitts & Nevis carried the Nation's banner in Florida, USA , recently. She is Vanesti Guishard Brown, who was born in Molineux, the same village that produced the renowned school teacher and trail - blazer, Mary Charles, after whom the Molineux Hospital was named.
     
    The Graduating Ceremony was held Saturday May 12 th, 2012, at the campus of the prestigious St. Thomas University Law School in Miami, Florida.

     

     Vanesti's early education began at the Basseterre Seventh Day Adventist School. She later attended the Molineux Primary School, where she began to exude academic excellence. As a result, Vanesti and a classmate were selected to represent Molineux Primary School in an island-wide Spelling Bee Competition, winning for their school, the coveted 1st. Prize Trophy.
     
     At age 11, Vanesti, her twin sister Vashti and her brother Cameron, left St. Kitts with their parents Basil and Anita Guishard, who migrated to Florida in 1994.

     

    This progressive Kittitian family, by the grace of the Almighty and hard work, has stamped its mark in a variety of inspiring ways, on the Fort Lauderdale, Florida community, where they have settled since migrating to the USA.

     

    The family also keeps up-to-date with events in St.Kitts & Nevis through relatives, friends, newspapers, the internet and social gatherings.
     
    Vanesti is ready, God being her helper, for the challenges that lie ahead. She credits her hard - earned successes to her Family.
