St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force recruits end training in Antigua

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, May 18th, 2012 (CUOPM) – Twenty-four recruits of the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force are among 48 soldiers who conclude a training exercise in Antigua on Friday.

     

    The 24 from St. Kitts and Nevis and also 24 from Antigua and Barbuda will Pass- Out during a Parade at Camp Blizzard in Antigua at 4:30 this afternoon.

     

    It is the first time that recruits from the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force were trained with the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force.

     

    Of the 48 recruits the only two females among them are from St. Kitts and Nevis.

     

    Chief Instructor of the 15-week training programme is Warrant Officer St. Clair of the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force and the seminar instructors Sergeant Glen Williams and Sergeant Laughton Huggins are from the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force.

     

    Lieutenant Troy Lake of the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) was the Officer Responsible for Training.
