BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - FASTCASH is currently celebrating its first anniversary and the management and staff would like to say a big thank you to all its loyal customers both past and present.
The consumer lending company first opened its doors to the St. Kitts and Nevis community in July of last year, offering a service where persons can borrow money without the long waiting period and without the hassle of having to provide collateral.
Located at Suite 107, Palms Arcade, The Circus, Basseterre, the company provides unsecured consumer loans of up to EC$8 000 for one year or less to qualifying applicants.
The FastCash model is based on applicants being fully employed for at least one year and with a reasonable expectation of continued employment.
Other requirements are very easy to meet. Loans are short term, easy to access and payout is the same day.
At the company’s official opening, Chief Executive Officer of FastCash (KN) Limited, Michel Williams said that the entity’s model makes it easy for persons who are hit by life’s emergencies.
“Life tends to come at you very fast. Everybody needs money at some point in time to do something. They don’t need a lot of it and they don’t have the house or the car that they need to mortgage…they just need a couple thousand dollars to take them over the hump."
The entity has, since opening day, been receiving a reasonable flow of customers to which the company is very grateful.
By the beginning of September, just a few months after starting up operation, the entity had already received 122 applications, 73 of which were approved with a disbursement of EC$216 347 in payouts.
FastCash has since then been having calendar giveaways in an effort to show its continuous appreciation for all their devoted customers.
Monday (May 21) the FastCash held an Open House where customers and potential customers were able to visit the business' location and learn more about the services being provided, what needs the company caters to and also have all questions answered.
Eats and drinks were also provided for those persons who visited.
The lending company would soon be having its Father's Day Promotion where one very lucky customer would be winning themselves a special prize.
Following that, FastCash would be having its annual ‘Back to School’ Campaign where it will provide financing for those who have back to school expenses to meet. A sweepstake will be running throughout the campaign where one lucky customer would be getting cash back from their loan.
“We are striving and will continue to strive to meet the needs of the sector at the personal level and soon at the micro business level, because we recognise the absolute importance of the sector and we believe we have the commitment, the methodologies and the human resources to succeed,” Williams said.
FastCash, which was first established in Dominica in 2004, has spread throughout the Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and offers its services to over 26 000 clients.
