BASSETERRE St. Kitts, May 22nd, 2012 -- With the full artists’ lineup of the St. Kitts Music Festival revealed, the Festival’s Local Promotions Sub-Committee today revealed plans to intensify the hype for the “Sweet 16” event.
Six-time Grammy Award winner Toni Braxton will headline the upcoming St. Kitts Music Festival, which takes place on Thursday June 28th to Saturday June 30th, 2012. The lineup also includes Roberta Flack, Damian Marley, Courtney Pine, Omarion, Machel Montano, Morgan Heritage, Krosfyah, I-Octane and Popcaan.
Chairman of the Promotions Sub-Committee, Lester Ible, said promoting the St. Kitts Music Festival to residents of the Federation is going to be exciting and filled with activities.
“We are planning on creating an early atmosphere of hype, while at the same time contributing to the entertainment sector on the island,” Ible said. “This promises to be one of the best Music Festival we have had in years, and so we are going to be explosive, because our promotional activities need to reflect the energy of the Sweet 16 St. Kitts Music Festival.”
Ible went on to reveal the 2012 Promotional Calendar of Events:

• Saturday May 26th – Winfest Beach Lime, Nevis
• Sunday May 27th – A Night of Local Stars, Green Valley
• Monday May 28th – Gramps Album Release, Coconut Grove, Nevis
• Thursday June 07th – Bonfire, Shiggidy Shack
• Friday June 08th – After Work Lime, Cloud 9
• Saturday June 09th – Island Tour, St. Kitts
• Sunday June 10th – Beach Lime, Frigate Bay Beach
• Friday June 15th – After Work Lime, 17 Degrees
• Saturday June 16th – Island Tour, Nevis
• Sunday June 17th – Hang Out, The Docks
• Friday June 22nd – ‘The Arts’ Expo – Port Zante
• Saturday June 23rd – Jungle Mania, Buddies Beach Hut
• Sunday June 24th – SKMF Catamaran Cruise
• Wednesday June 27th – SKMF Jump Off, Downtown Basseterre
