CHIPPIE offers 1000 Free minutes in its New Post Paid plans

General Manager for CHIPPIE, Mr. Alfred Harley

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts- Local GSM Service provider Chippie announced Monday that it has improved its Post Paid Cellular Services, offering four  packages from XCD$45 up to XCD$150 month with up to 1000 free minutes for any local call.

General Manager for CHIPPIE Alfred Harley said all existing Chippie Post Paid subscribers in St. Kitts and Nevis will automatically benefit from the new local rate feature that allows them to call any carrier with their free minutes.

Chippie Post Paid Subscribers also now benefit from unlimited Chippie to Chippie texting. Harley said the SMS Texting rate from Chippie to any other carrier remains at an unbeatable XCD$0.08 cents per text.

Harley said the free minutes comes at a time when the residents are calling for relief in any other area they can get it, considering the burden put on their pockets with the skyrocketing prices at the gas pumps.
As an added means of allowing customers some extra cash to tank up Harley said Chippie will be offering New Post Paid subscribers up to two months free subscription to Post Paid when they sign up for any of their plans for One or Two years.

Harley said post paid subscribers will receive their bills every month, on time with the possibility to view their accounts on line as well.

This special offer will run for two months and has already been getting the buzz around the island as the best post paid offer ever offered locally.

The improved packages are “Sunflower XCD$45” which includes 200 free minutes, “Poinciana XCD$50 monthly” which includes 250 free minutes, “Orchid XCD$80 per month” which includes 450 free minutes and “Rose XCD$150 per month” which includes 1000 free minutes.

According to Harley, over the past few years of the company’s arrival on the local scene there have been few changes in the original offer for post paid service. He said, “While we constantly offered the most, free minutes, and the lowest monthly subscription per package, we were still not competing steadily enough. He said after reviewing the services it was necessary to go back to the drawing board and make marked improvements.

Harley also said that while before the company asked a whapping XCD$350 deposit to its clients that will no longer exist. He said “We can’t expect to burden customers and count on their support in an already financially precarious environment.”

Harley says the new offer is now XCD$100 for post paid service and once a post paid customer wanted to make use of Chippie’s Roaming service they would be required to pay only XCD$150 which was well below the asking price of the competition.

He said that Chippie was continuing its campaign which it started in February this year, which was aimed at improving the company’s presence and market share within the federation.

Harley said that the new offer was an urgent answer to his request to the Management of one of Chippie’s Parent companies in the Netherlands Antilles, United Telecommunication Services UTS. “I have been listening to the many concerns and cries that the local working-class has had regarding high costs for communication, and of course high gas prices.”

With these struggles, managing your finances becomes difficult at best, and therefore we decided to provide meaningful returns for our customers. Since the announcement several persons have started coming in to Chippie’s Cayon Street office and it’s Office in the Keystone Complex in Charlestown Nevis to take advantage of the new offer.
